Doctor Who Fans Debate How Major Villains Have Been Handled in Each Era

Doctor Who fans have taken to social media to debate the handling of the show's three major villains - the Daleks, the Cybermen, and the Master - by the three showrunners who have held the position since the revival in 2005. Doctor Who is known for its vast range of monsters and villains, but the aforementioned three have always stood the test of time and are as much a part of the show's DNA as the Doctor themselves. The Daleks are as old as the show, appearing in the second-ever serial in 1963, and the Cybermen aren't far behind, debuting in 1966. The Master was introduced later but is no less iconic and, like the Doctor, has been portrayed by several actors.
