King Shark's DCU Future Confirmed By Sylvester Stallone

Following his successful debut in The Suicide Squad, Sylvester Stallone has confirmed King Shark's DC Universe future. Based on the comic book character created by Karl Kesel and Tom Grummett, Nanaue (aka King Shark) is a humanoid shark that is often depicted as a recurring villain for The Flash and Aquaman. After the character’s first live-action appearance in The Flash television series, director James Gunn would also add a more childlike iteration of the character to his version of Task Force X in 2021’s The Suicide Squad. While the motion capture performance of the film version of King Shark was provided by Steve Agee, Gunn admitted that he recorded three other actors before finally settling on Stallone to voice the character.
