Senior Year Trailer: Rebel Wilson Wakes From 20 Year Coma in New Movie

Rebel Wilson wakes up from a coma after 20 years in the trailer for Netflix’s new comedy, Senior Year. Since her introduction to Hollywood in Bridesmaids, Wilson continues to have a successful career with memorable roles in Jojo Rabbit, The Hustle, and the Pitch Perfect franchise. In early 2021, it was revealed Wilson was set to embark on her newest comedy venture with the film Senior Year. Directed by Alex Hardcastle, Senior Year follows an adult woman (Wilson) who attempts to relive her high school days when she was once a popular cheerleader. Wilson shared an official first look at the movie in February, as well as a set photo back in August.

Now, Netflix releases the trailer for Senior Year, which shows Wilson's character Stephanie waking up from a 20-year-long coma after a cheerleading accident. In Senior Year, Stephanie attempts to finish high school, relive her glory days, and cope with life being drastically different. Featuring Wilson donning attire from 2002, the trailer reveals going back to school won’t be as easy as Stephanie thinks. Check out the trailer below:
