Blac Chyna Ready For Kardashian Family To Testify In Her Trial

The trial to settle the lawsuit between Blac Chyna, formally known as Angela White, and the famous family from The Kardashians begins in just a few days, and Chyna is prepared to have the family testify. Despite the constant battle between the family and Chyna, there was a former established friendship, but a feud began around 2014 when Chyna's relationship with her former fiancé, Tyga, a famous rapper, ended. Nearing the end of their relationship, Tyga began to spend an unusual amount of time with Kylie Jenner, who at the time was a minor. A few months after Tyga and Kylie's relationship ended, Chyna became reconnected to the family when she started dating Rob Kardashian.

The relationship between the Kardashian brother and Chyna progressed very quickly as he proposed to her after they were dating for three months. Just a few months after this, it was announced that Chyna was pregnant. In September of the same year, 2016, the couple joined the E! family and had their own reality show called Rob & Chyna that featured everything about their relationship and Chyna's pregnancy. The show only lasted for one season, and Chyna believes that it was the Kardashian family that caused the show to be canceled, which is why she is suing the family.

After a long time, the trial is finally approaching, and Page Six reported that Chyna is looking forward to having the Kardashians testify because she is ready to prove that the family "all played a role in getting the show canceled to their immense financial benefit." According to the lawsuit and Chyna's attorney, Lynne Cianni, the family cost Chyna $92,500 an episode due to the cancelation. Cianni told Page Six that the Kardashians "knew they did not have the legal right to cancel Chyna’s show: all four defendants carried out their illegal activity in secret and repeatedly lied to Chyna’s face." According to Chyna's lawyer, having the show canceled was only part of what hurt her. She said, "Kris Jenner was like a second mother to Chyna, and Kim had been her BFF for years. The extreme betrayal and humiliation felt by Chyna, after discovering the truth about what the defendants did to her, lingers to this day."

Based on public records obtained from Page Six, the Kardashian family is being sued for a total of $100 million. Chyna is requesting $40 million for "loss of earning damages" and $60 million for "loss of future earning capacity damages." Though the Kardashian family will appear in court to testify, they will only appear for one day, as their lawyer, Michael G. Rhodes, has requested this based on the status of the family. Chyna will also appear in court to testify. When the family was first sued, they countersued the star with a lawsuit claiming she had caused violence against Rob. Though there was substantial evidence that could have caused the two to go to trial, Rob dismissed the trial so that he and Chyna could co-parent.

The trial between the stars is set to begin on April 15. Though the Kardashians allegedly caused Rob & Chyna to be canceled, Chyna was able to get a new reality show on Zeus Network called The Real Blac Chyna in 2019, but the show only lasted for one season. For the Kardashian family, they continue to be the leading family in reality TV as their new show, The Kardashians, will premiere on Hulu on April 14, one day before their trial date.
