Masked Singer Season 7 Promo Reveals First Look At Ringmaster’s Voice

The Masked Singer has given fans an inside look at new contestant Ringmaster's voice ahead of the season 7 premiere. The show, which aired its season 6 finale in December, has been teasing contestants and performances from the new season since FOX announced its premiere in January. The show has since been releasing costumes day by day on social media, with costume reveals like Miss Teddy, Queen Cobra and Hydra–the show's first three-headed monster costume. While some fans are getting ready for the season premiere, other fans are finding it hard to forgive The Masked Singer over reports that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was revealed to be behind one of the masks, causing both Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong to storm off stage.

However, the controversy has not eliminated all of the show's diehard viewers. A few weeks ago, FOX aired a sneak preview of the upcoming season, and fans ecstatically tuned in to see some exclusive clues and a performance from a contestant in the Cuddly group, SpaceBunny. Based on the one performance and clue, fans were already throwing out guesses, confident that the performer was reggae singer Shaggy. The show introduced Ringmaster in February, and fans loved the costume, calling it one of the best and drawing comparisons to The Greatest Showman and Britney Spears' 2008 Circus album.

The Masked Singer returns on Wednesday, March 9. But before the premiere, they've given fans another inside look at the new season. The Masked Singer Twitter account shared a short look at season 7, and the clip revealed a performance by the Ringmaster. In between clips of the show's panelists dancing along and cheering on performers, Ringmaster revealed her powerhouse vocals by hitting a high note during a rendition of "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. Fireworks exploded on the stage behind her as she reached for the note, prompting panelist Nicole Scherzinger to show off her "season 7 goosebumps."

This is the second time fans have been able to hear a season 7 contestant's singing voice–after they heard who they assume is Shaggy on The Masked Singer preview episode. Typically, the show reveals the contestants' singing voice during the episode; however, their speaking voice is kept a secret to make it more difficult for fans to figure out their identity. Instead, FOX adds a filter to the contestants' voices that disguises what they actually sound like so that viewers can only guess based on their vocals and clue packages. Fans are incredibly excited for the premiere, with one responding to the sneak peek, "It's gonna be EPIC!"

The Masked Singer is certainly switching things up this season with all the previews that give fans more than any other season has revealed before its premiere. With Ringmaster's incredible vocals, fans will certainly be guessing every powerhouse vocalist they can think of. Singers like Katharine McPhee and America's Got Talent star Jackie Evancho blew the panelists and viewers away in past seasons, so anything is possible for The Masked Singer season 7 as well. With just one short clip, Ringmaster is proving to be a frontrunner in the competition this season.
