Kangana Ranaut feels Hollywood has destroyed other industries by creating a global monopoly – Times of India

In a recent press conference held for ‘Thalaivii’, Kangana Ranaut shared her opinions on Hollywood films. The actress feels that Hollywood films need to be discouraged which will also help in making an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.

Urging fans to watch more Indian films, the actress said, “ We need to enjoy our own films first, be it Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu or Punjabi. We must keep our people and our industry our priority and discourage Hollywood films. This is the way to make an Atmanirbhar Bharat”

In ‘Thalaivii’, the actress will be seen essaying the role of J Jayalalithaa who was an Indian politician and film actress who served as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu for more than fourteen years between 1991 and 2016.

Kangana will next be seen in ‘Dhaakad’ — a spy thriller wherein he will be essaying the role of an officer named Agent Agni. Actors Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutt are also a part of the upcoming movie. Kangana also has films like ‘Tejas’ and ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’, in her kitty.
