Bachelor In Paradise: The Brendan & Pieper Dating Rumors Explained

Rumors are swirling about Bachelor in Paradise stars Brendan Morais and Pieper James, and it's time to discuss the chatter about their relationship. During season seven, there was talk that Brendan Morais (a contestant from Clare and Tayshia's The Bachelorette season), came onto the show while he was in a relationship with fellow Bachelor Nation alum, Pieper James. She was featured on The Bachelor season 25. While Brendan denied that he and Pieper were ever in a committed relationship, that didn't stop the other contestants (and the viewers at home) from wondering what really went down between the two. Now, the truth about their relationship prior to Bachelor in Paradise is finally being revealed.

During the second episode of the show, while he was out on a date with Demi Burnett, viewers saw that several of the contestants had heard a rumor that Brendan and Pieper were dating. When Demi learned about the rumor, she decided to confront Brendan about what she had just heard from others. While Brendan did state that he and Pieper were talking prior to him coming on the show, he also said that they never put a label on their relationship. He then had a similar conversation with the woman he was pursuing on Bachelor In Paradise, Natasha Parker, from Pilot Pete Weber's season.

According to US Weekly, Brendan and Pieper began dating in June, right around the time that the show began filming. In the same article, it was revealed by a source that the pair met through mutual friends and had been dating for a few weeks. They reportedly wanted to keep their relationship under wraps since it was a new and long-distance Bachelor franchise relationship.

Despite all of the talk that they were dating, the two still decided to go on Bachelor in Paradise, with Brendan as an original cast member and Pieper joining later in the season. It is rumored that the pair decide to pursue a relationship while in Paradise, but the truth won't come out until the viewers see the final edit when it airs. Although gossip about the pair and Bachelor in Paradise spoilers began early in the season, it is still unknown if the pair actually did pursue each other before the show. Viewers will have to tune in to see how the rest of the season plays out and who gets engaged at the end of Bachelor in Paradise.
